A BCO END OF YEAR CASE REPORT Case 06: Posted December 2, 2017 by admin

A Deadly Mistaken Identity:
On October 17, 2017, 2 thieves broke into a shopping complex in jikwoyi on Karau axis. The witness who called for police, described one of the thieves as wearing  jersey.
The next thing, here comes a boy jogging in sports wear. He was immediately butchered to death.
BCO was called to Asokoro hospital to fight for justice for the dead boy.  When we arrived at the hospital, they have already caught the real thieves.
The thieves in their initial statements said they didn’t know the dead boy and that he was not part of their operation. And that he, the victim was beaten to death by the police. The thieves made this claim in the presence of the crowd, including the medical personnel.
But later on, the story changed to “faceless okada people killed him”
Police are seriously hindering BCO from gathering more facts on this case.
Up till this moment we believe the victim’s families have not been notified.
Take a look at the pictures of the thieves and the victim and compare. How much are they alike?
I.G of police and Senate committee on social justice must look into the matter.
